Big Island of Hawaii Travel Guide and Travel Information

Island of Hawai’i is known as The Big Island of Hawaii to avoid confusion with the name of the State of Hawaii.
The Big Island of Hawaii is the largest and youngest of the Hawaiian archipelago. It is the Southeastern most of the Hawaiian island chain. Boasting a land area approximating the state of Connecticut, it is perhaps the most ‘Hawaiian’ of the major island. Also known as the Volcano Island, Orchid Isle, Big Island or simply Hawaii.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame is situated on Hollywood Boulevard with most of the featured stars found in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Currently, there are well over 2,000 stars on the Walk of Fame. Even you can add your own star, or at least make it appear that way, to this celebrity-enhanced walkway. All you need to do is visit Starring You at 6773 Hollywood Boulevard, which is almost next door to the Hollywood Wax Museum (another place you’ll no doubt want to see).
