This article came up when I googled travel to Italy for which I’m glad as I’ve never heard of renting a timeshare. I’m trying to arranage a trip to Tuscany for my wife for our anniversary next year and I think she’d really like this idea.

Excellent tip! Me and family always opts to rent a place for days rather than staying in hotels… me and my wife feel more relaxed while kids still have more energy to runabout the place after sightseeing or after a day’s tour.

True, renting a house or a timeshare can save you a lot of money when on a vacation or traveling. It also doesn’t only help you to budget, but makes you feel less a tourist and more of a local.
